We hope that you are all keeping well, and are having a fantastic fishing year! The lakes have been fishing very well in general, with some days being harder than others where the fish have turned to small natural flies such as nymphs and dry flies. Our water temperature stayed below 14 degrees Celsius throughout the summer, and the fishing can only get better with the air temperature soon to start dropping!
Just a quick notice: As of 18/09/2020 we have had to start taking names, contact details and arrival/departure times to keep inline the with governments track and trace system. This only takes 10 seconds of your time and ensure that we can still remain open and operating legally as a leisure venue.
We are still recommending pre-booking as some days do get very busy; this is just to ensure that you will have a space when you arrive. Most days are not fully booked and have plenty of space; however we still get days where we can be very busy.
Grayling season on the river starts on the 1st October, and they is a large population in the river again this year, with plenty of fish around the 1lb mark, and many at 2lb+ in places!
We hope to see you soon, and tightlines!
