As most of you are well aware the Coronavirus, or Covid-19, has become the chief concern of the UK, with the government asking people to self-isolate where possible. Fortunately, with the two lakes and river fishing that we have available, it provides a good environment to enjoy a day out in fresh air with as little contact with other members of the public as you choose!
Here at Manningford, business remains open as usual and the fishing has been on top form! Now that the sun is making an appearance and the days are becoming warmers, plenty of fish have been taking more natural patterns and starting to rise freely for the buzzer which are starting to hatch!
We have implemented measures to ensure you can enjoy a good day of fishing with minimal concern and worry, and to ensure that we keep the fishery a safe environment for all of our customers.
At the entrance of our lodge, we have placed a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitiser which anglers MUST use before entering the lodge. We also advise that you use it once you have left the lodge.
This is not just for your own safety and peace of mind but also for the other anglers who wish to use our facilities, and the fishery staff. One squirt of sanitiser is enough, and ensure there is plenty of the rest of our customers.
Please use common sense and follow typical hygiene protocols; use a tissue for any coughs or sneezes and wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds afterwards.
Our lodge with remain open for the use of anglers, including our tea and coffee station. However, we advise the you spend as little time in the lodge as possible, and relish the warmth of the sun with our garden benches!
We will also be regularly disinfecting door handles, surfaces and all other things that you would typically come in contact with to give you peace of mind and maintain a clean, safe and most importantly comfortable environment for all!
We hope to see you all in the near future, and come to enjoy some incredible sport!
Many thanks
